Demo walkthrough

Follow this short route through Foreworld, from the landscape to the investigation and its research questions.

A route through the prototype

  1. Begin with the landscape. Select domesticated pigs and explore the conditions and technologies surrounding the investigation.
  2. Enter the hypothetical corridor. Follow an animal and inspect its measurements. The animals, movements and monitor rules are simulated.
  3. Change what is observed. Add head-low and inspect how the grouping changes. A computed group does not establish a welfare concern.
  4. Review a sample. Consider what the observations support, what remains uncertain and what additional evidence would help. A confirmed review can be shown beside the landscape without changing an assessment.
  5. Open the Edinburgh dataset view. These are real farm-pen frames with supplied automatic predictions, separate from the synthetic groups. They introduce the next task: examining tracking quality and defensible measurements.
